Working on a new gimmick for my indy wrestling here, think more or less Alex Wright becoming Berlyn.  I need a dark sounding Canadian city that sounds intense and broody (totally know that isn't a word, but go with it)

Fox Hollow
Grimsby (The 'grim' part...I guess Grimsby reminds me of a Gumby character - not dark at all)
Schreiber (What little girls do when they meet Justin = shriek + beiber)

I approve of any and all of Ruckus' moves, so I think it's a good choice.

Also, I find it amusing there is really a Canadian city called 'Dawson Creek'. Though that is probably broody in the wrong way...

Jumping from Ziggy's list to a larger list of Canadian towns, I found a few I thought sounded promising.

Killam, Alberta
Morden, Manitoba
Mulgrave, Nova Scotia
Gravenhurst, Grimsby, Gore Bay, or Rainy River, Ontario
Cut Knife, Saskatchewan

My normal trick, to be honest, would be to find a place that a dark character would give an ironic twist to, maybe something like Paradise, Newfoundland, or Sylvan Lake, Alberta. That doesn't seem to be the direction you're going, but I figure it's worth putting out there to kick around.

I'll run that through my brain as well.  Sort of like Foley's having a seperate entrance and exit theme for his moods.  A pleasant name and then pain in the ring

For the finisher, John Morrison used to do a sitout facebuster. I could only find a video of Jushin Thunder Liger and Its at about 1:43.

 http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IEMcMDJkoWg

If that link doesn't work its "Top Ten Facebuster Variations in Wrestling"

I'd call it The Northern Light.

In a past superhero rpg, I made Halifax a very nasty place, and gave it the nickname of Hellifax. Might that work?

My current "Tron".  As you can see, one small ass guy and a hell of a gimmick change to come.

Sounds flat, boring, and like the Canadian version of deliverance.

Is the Head Smashed In one legit?

It's a heritage site, where First nations people herded Bison over a cliff, so that their heads would get smashed on the bottom. Instead of hunting/killing Bison individually. I believe the heritage site is near a town. So you could claim to have been born in the town, but as a kid spent most of your time at the heritage site. So you kinda grew up where a bunch of Bison herds had their Heads Smashed in...
