I have been to over 100 concerts in my life. I have seen the likes of Led Zeppelin, Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, AC/DC, Madonna, and many more from all genres. I have seen Pink Floyd before, I have seen Roger Waters before, but seeing The Wall last night may have been the best concert/show I have ever been to. The pyros, stage effects, storytelling, presence, and sound were outstanding. Even somebody that did not know the album would enjoy the show. I strongly encourage any of you who get a chance to see this show in what will likely be the final tour in Water's career. Did anybody else see this yet?

May 31st... 20th Row on the Floor.

In the last couple of weeks have seen the Rev. Horton Heat, and Rammstein.

This has been a great month for concerts. Yes... I'm a little excited.
(Saw him for the Darkside of the Moon Tour, and that was one of my top 3 concerts ever - it was better then when I saw Floyd on the Pulse Tour)

Totally agree. I saw Water's "In the Flesh" tour and it blew away the Division Bell/Pulse tours. The Wall was even better, although I did miss hearing the Wish You Were Here/Animals/Moon/solo stuff.

What blew me away was his backup singer who nailed Great Gig in the Sky. Floyd has been touring with three singers to tackle it, and Waters needed one. And when great gig finished, the crowed errupted because everyone could tell they had just watched something amazing.

On the Darkside tour, Waters played a few songs from Animals, as well as some of his solo stuff. To Kill the Child/Leaving Beirut was amazing performed live with the video screen pieces, and I was a huge fan of Amused to Death, so I was happy to finally get to hear a bunch of his solo stuff live.

One more week. You've got me starting to get excited!!!

BTW - Rammstein - Holy crap... the pyrotechnics... the fire... and more fire...
And now I get the Wall...  Life is good.

He did a lot of the Amused To Death during the In The Flesh tour as well. Very good. It's hard to believe that this man will be 70 next year. He looks great and doesn't seem so angry anymore. Enjoy the show. My son head in awe the entire time.

Sweet Jesus.

I just got home from the concert, complete with my collectable confetti. Apparently there wasn't the Russian Hammer and Sickle, nor was there the Benz symbol.

Mind is blown... I'm blissfully going to bed.
And yes... he seems much less angry, and quite happy actually.

And GE Smith was one of his guitarists!!!

It's simply amazing how well the wall holds up, and just how relevant it is today.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I hope others decide to experience this before it's too late. Pure awesomeness!
