There will be a raw deal qualifier on June 24th 2012 at Alternate Universe in Holmes pa 19043.

The format is classic
10 prematch and 10 midmatch
Decklist is required!

Entry fee is $4 dollars.

Bring your best.

I don't think I can make it this time but good luck to all who do go.  Keep posting tournament announcements, and I may be able to corral some players from North Jersey to make a trip one of these Sundays.

Speaking personally, yes.  Allentown cuts the ride in half (a bunch of us are right off of 78 in Jersey, so it's a straight shot) and is far less likely to have a "shore traffic" issue on the return.

I've been in Allentown a few times before (including the place where the pic on virtual card Allentown PA is shot) and it was generally a good experience.

We rotate tourney rules every month. but the qualifier was voted to be classic (ugh). But once a month we have a tourney.

The reason why Holmes, PA was chosen is because the few that come down from Allentown play with my crew who can't make a trip anywhere

The qualifier did not happen today lack of people so we will be having one July 29th  it will be virtual classic. will provided more in the coming days

King1050 and myself - GAMHHH will be the 2 people in charge of this event any questions just let us know. If anyone is interested in playing this qualifier will either happen in Allentown or in Holmes, PA. My crew in Holmes wants to play but will have a very hard time getting to the Allentown location

If I'm available that day, which may be a fairly large if, while I'd rather play in Holmes (something to do with the store being about 10 minutes from my house) I would be willing to provide rides.

Sad about it being Virtual Classic, since most of my decks are built for All Axxess or non-Virtual All Axxess. I'll figure something out, though.

Unfortunately I won't be able to drive anyone to Allentown. I got furloughed at work and I'm searching for another job so I don't have to go back. In the meantime, I want to save money, and making this kind of trip wouldn't help me do that. Sorry : /

ok folks, i talked to King1050 who was going to help me run this event. Here is the thing, we aren't going to have a qualifier cause everywhere in Allentown was going to charge an outrageous fee to use their facilities for this tournament. If anyone knows where we could hold this tournament at least within the Allentown area please let me know but fot right now there is no Qualifier tournament going on, Sorry everybody

I can understand the Allentown thing, forget those exorbitant prices.

Would you be willing to hold this in Holmes?  I just talked with my ride and he's willing to travel to Holmes.

I can but I would run it probably on this upcoming Sunday only reason is that Gencon is next month. its up to you guys but i have 5 people from Holmes ready to play. if you guys want to play here, its free and I will only charge to play in the tournament, and depends on how many people play is how much i am charging, let me know
