That would have been good to know beforehand.  Sad  would have made Michael Cole a much higher priority pick for me.

If you didn't already realize Michael Cole would be points either way, that's on you Bro.  My BEEF to you fantasy broskis running this, is where is the Spanish Announce team at?  They would have been my first draft pick.

LOL @ #SPANISHANNOUNCERS!

Anyway, posting the results of No Way Out.  I will normally update scores on Sunday.  Reminder that trades need to be in by Saturday night and they will be active for the next week.

I did make up this scoring system early in the year, and I apologize for the kinks, but it will awesome when we're done.

If you didn't already realize Michael Cole would be points either way, that's on you Bro.

Cept when scoring was first announced we'd only get points for him when he got -in- the ring.  Like for an interview or more for a match.  Meaning Cole would be worth 2-6 points on average per month.  Not any more than some of the Superstars quality roster picks.  Then suddenly he jumps to 4 points a week plus any random match he gets in plus announcing PPV's.  That makes a big difference man.  And the scoring change is not "on me bro"

I was going on the assumption that:

"All non-match appearances are worth 1 point per appearance.  This includes being a lumberjack, being a backstage promo, managing a wrestler in a match, etc.  This does not include the normal job appearances of ring announcers, and ringside work by commentators, except Ricardo Rodriguez and anyone hired to fill a similar role. Commentators performing in-ring interviews will receive appearance points."  No where else did it say they'd get the 2 points till after draft picks.  That's my "BEEF".

Now, as an addendum...I will have to say I would not have picked him round 3-4 which is where he was snatched up in my pool (Raw) but I bet it would have made a difference in the Smackdown draft...that and I prolly would have offered some trades to Jokerfish....

My point is that even in the original points system, he went 8th round in our draft, whereas he went 3rd in yours.  Everyone had different strategies drafting, and anyone who did research or even loosely followed the old Fantasy drafts in this same forum saw how fast Cole points added up.  He was always worth taking a shot on.

C'est la vie. If you want a guaranteed 4 points (and very likely no more than that), draft him earlier in the next season. I don't have him, I doubt that I'll get him this cycle, but that's fine with me.

The announcers were tough to work with, and I had not considered scoring their jobs until it had been suggested.

NXT season 6 wrestlers will come soon, and due to the size of pool at that point (40+ in the free agent pool) and non-wrestling personalities might be cut when that happens ( or the WWE will do standard spring cuts).  I will ask people's opinions on that when we approach the next draft.  That will ease this situation then, and, again, I apologize for the confusion and mistake now.

I will also accept any thoughts and suggestions on the system, and will happily take any criticism, it only helps to make things better.

After re-reading the scoring, am I correct in assuming a match with a special stipulation/specialty match (Inferno, HIAC, Tuxedo, #1 Contender) only scores standard match points, and nothing for special match points?
