Updated for Survivor Series Season

WWE Fantasy Seasons
There are 4 seasons within the calendar year, and they are based around the PPV schedule.
Each season has approximately 13 weeks, with the first week of the season being the draft, and scoring shall not take place during that week.

Great American Bash: Draft is Monday after Wrestlemania and includes the PPVs: Extreme Rules, Over the Limit, and No Way Out.

Summerslam: Draft is Monday after No Way Out and includes the PPVs: Money in the Bank, Summerslam, and Night of Champions

Survivor Series: Draft is Monday after Night of Champions and includes the PPVs: Hell in the Cell, Survivor Series, and Tables, Ladders, and Chairs.

Wrestlemania: Draft is Monday after TLC and includes the PPVs: Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and Wrestlemania.  It also includes the special event Tribute to the Troops (if in December).

WWE Fantasy Draft
The league will be split into two brands: Raw and Smackdown. Each brand will be comprised of 6 drafters, and each will draft separately. Each draft will go for 5 rounds (CHANGED), the draft after Wrestlemania will go for 6.  Each round each General Manager (GM) will select one wrestler, personality, or Diva off of the WWE roster.  WWE Legends making one-shot appearances will not be added to the league pool. Should a legend make a full-time return to the active roster, they will be added upon their addition to an active roster on the WWE website. For the first season, the selection order will be determined randomly.  For every season following, the GM with the lowest score from the previous season will have the first selection in the next draft.  The draft will take place during the week after Wrestlemania, No Way Out,  Night of Champions, and Tables, Ladders, and Chairs.

-Shane Douglas Franchise Tag
Following the inaugural draft, each GM will select one wrestler on their team to receive the "Shane Douglas Franchise Tag." The wrestler tagged will remain on that GM's roster for the entire year, unless the GM rescinds the franchise tag, which may be done only at the next draft or if the wrestler is removed from the WWE roster, and thus the league pool. If so, he may place it on a different wrestler.

Wrestlemania Draft - New Season
In the Wrestlemania draft, ALL wrestlers will be reentered into the draft pool, and all scores will be reset to 0.  The GM will the lowest score will open the next round.

New GM's
New GM's can only join the league at the next draft.   They will be randomly added to the draft order after the GM with the lowest score has chosen.

GM's are allowed are to switch and trade draft picks, but they need to inform the COO prior to making the trades and all GMs must draft 10 wrestlers.

COO Scoring
The league COO (CharismaticZero) shall not draft a team. All wrestlers in the free agent pool shall be considered to be on the COO's roster for each league, and the COO will score points for those wrestlers as normal. The COO may not franchise tag a free agent.

Fantasy League Season
Each team of wrestlers will be scored for their performance and appearances during the fantasy season.  The included shows will be Raw, Smackdown, WWE Main Event (NEW), Saturday Morning Slam (NEW!), Superstars, Tribute to the Troops, all PPVs, and any other special event that might be run, ie, Saturday Night's Main Event, Slammy Awards, Hall of Fame ceremony, etc.  Non-wrestling Youtube channel shows and house shows are not included.  Matches on PPV pre-shows on Youtube will be  included.

Season Trades
GM's may trade any non-franchise tagged wrestler with any other GM, but it must be approved by the COO first.  GM's may also release a non-franchise tagged wrestler at the end of any week to acquire a wrestler in the free agent pool. Waivers will be processed in reverse standings order, and are due by 11:59pm Saturday evening.

Points
All non-match appearances are worth 1 point per appearance.  This includes being a lumberjack, being a backstage promo, managing a wrestler in a match, etc.  This does not include the normal job appearances of ring announcers, and ringside work by commentators, except Ricardo Rodriguez and anyone hired to fill a similar role. Commentators performing in-ring interviews will receive appearance points. Wrestlers can only earn points for a GM when they are on the roster, any points aquired in free agency do not count toward any GM's total.

Points, trades, and aquisitions will be posted Sunday afternoons, before any PPV.

Scoring:

WWE Staff Points: (NEW!ish)
If a member of the staff does multiple jobs, they will be scored for both jobs.
Vintage Example:  Josh Matthews does an interview backstage, then comes out to commentate the show, he will receive 2 points (interviewer) + 2 points (commentator) = 4 points total.

Commentary (Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, Josh Matthews, etc) - 2 points a night
Backstage Interviewers (Josh Matthews, Matt Striker, Scott Stanford, etc) - 2 points a night
Ring Announcers (Justin Roberts, Lilian Garcia, Tony Chimel ) - 2 points a night

If a wrestler does a backstage interview, it is normal appearance points.
If a wrestler does commentary, they will receive 1 point for every 30 min (approx 2 major segements) they are there.

Match appearance - 2

Win Bonus Points:
   Wrestlemania  - 5
Summerslam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, Tribute to the Troops - 4
   All other PPVs - 3
   Raw, Smackdown - 2
Saturday Morning Slam(NEW), WWE Main Event(NEW), Superstars -1
Main Event (final match on the card) - 1

Special Match Bonus Points
   Title Win - 10
Title Defense - 1 point for a successful (win the match) + 1 point for every previous successful defense (NEW!)
Pinfall, Submission, or KO in an elimination/multi-fall match - 5
Countout or Disqualification in an elimination/multi-fall match - 4
   Battle Royal Elimination - 3

Special Bonus Points - all of these replace the match points (2) + victory style points ()
   Royal Rumble (winner) - 25
   Sole Survivor - 20 points
King of the Ring - 15 points
Money in the Bank (winner) - 10 points
   Slammy Winner - 5

Example:
Winning a title match on Raw would be:
Title Win + Raw Win+Match Points
                      10         +           2         +    2    =     14
Other special match types
   Matches With Mutiple Falls:
2 Out of 3 Falls ( 3 Stages of Hell)
      Traditional Survivor Series
      Royal Rumble
      Ironman Match
      Elimination Chamber
      Mutliple Man Elimination Match
      Handicap Match

If a wrestler scores pinfalls during these matches the fall point totals are cumulative.  Any wrestler who does not score any falls during the match will be awared the 2 match points, as well as any other bonus points.
Any specialty match with a specific win condition will be treated as a pinfall victory, ie Buried Alived, Inferno, Casket.

Shows Scored:
Raw, Smackdown, WWE Main Event (NEW!), Superstars, Saturday Morning Slam (NEW!), Tribute to the Troops, All PPVs.

How to Win:
For each season, the GM with the most points shall be declared the season winner.
For each year, the GM's season scores shall be totaled together and divided by the number of seasons each GM participated in (to equalize those GMs who join the league following the first season.)

Draft Rules
The draft will be a Snake Draft.    Drafting shall go in normal order for the odd numbered rounds, and in reverse order for the even numbered rounds.  The Raw and Smackdown Drafts will each have their own threads. When making a pick, list your name, the round number, the pick number, and the selection, in the following format:

Vince McMahon, 1-1: Hulk Hogan

Please do not name drop. Discussing picks that have already been made is fine, but please don't mention anyone who hasn't been selected.  A separate thread for draft discussion will be created, please only use the Brand specific draft forums for posting draft picks.

There will be no selection skipping, but if a GM cannot make a pick for 24 hours, and has not informed the COO as to when they will be available, the COO will select for them.

In the event a GM will be absent for an extended period of time during the Draft, they can submit a proxy list to the COO, who will pick the next available superstar for that GM.

So, Cena can be drafted by a RAW brand guy and a Smackdown branded guy, but other than that, there is no difference or restrictions on picking guys?

Correct. The Raw and Smackdown drafters will each be drafting from their own individual version of the WWE talent pool, and as long as someone's available in your draft's pool, you can take the person.

Oh, and just to start off the game right, I'm open to any trade offers, if anyone has something in mind.

We just post in the draft thread when it's our turn to draft, right?

And just to confirm, that's 12 noon, not 12 midnight, yeah?

I will take any offers for my first round pick via trades, not guaranteed that I would give it away but if someone was to offer their 1/2 picks for my first overall and something down the line I would like to hear from them via pm.  Worth looking into at least.

? We would each still get 10 picks.  But it would be more movement up and down the board, they get the top pick I get higher picks and they get later round ones.  Guess that isn't allowed either though.

No, you're good. I think CZ missed the bit where you mentioned "something down the line."

As long as equal numbers of picks move in each direction, you're good to go.

Quick question Re: appearance points: is it "I appeared on the show, therefore I earned a point for you no matter how often I was there" or is it "each time I show up on your TV in a new segment, I earn you 1 point"?

Question about commentators and On-Air personalities:

How will points be scored for people like VKM and Johnny Ace? I know you said they won't get appearance points for doing their duties, but then what would get Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, Johny Ace, Vince, etc points?

Johnny and Vince get appearance points, like anyone else...Only the announcers don't get appearance points for basically sitting at the table and being in camera view.

To give announcers at least some value I think they should get one appearance counted for doing their job (aka two points) and additional points only if they go behind that role. That way you have a balance between announcers getting an appearance each time the camera zooms in on them and not giving them anything at all.

By the way, to the two guys whose posts I edited in the Raw draft, all I did was fix your numbering. The format is (round number) - (pick number in that round) (Superstar).

Scanning the dirt sheets, it appears that somehow I missed the ankle injury to R-Truth.  R-Truth added to inactive roster.  Hopefully, he only misses No Way Out.

NXT Question:

How are pre-taped shows handled when we know results months ahead of time? Obviously we know results but not actual special points.
If players can pick up people off waivers knowing their results that are coming up a few weeks from now, it seems slightly odd.

Opinions?

The thing with NXT is that it's taped 4 shows at once. In the end, the same wrestler isn't wrestling more than once in any of these four shows (I don't think).

I've read the spoilers and it seems that no one gets more than 4 points of NXT alone, so it's not that much of an advatnge - plus, it only happens one per draft season, so I don't think it's an issue.

How about the new NXT Roster?  Names such as Richie Steamboat, Bray Wyatt, ...whatever generic name they gave Brodie Lee, and others.  When will they be added to our main draft roster?
