This Is my first attempt at a Volley deck, so please be as brutal as possible  Grin

Roddy Piper - Volley Build

- Backstage Area:

Signing Appearance
Backstage Signature
Fifth Anniversary *

- Pre-Match:

Trash Talkin' Interview (TB)
Managed By Jimmy Hart
United States Title Belt
The Champ Is Here
Through All These Years
Wrestlemania
Bagpipe Introduction
Piper's Pit
A No Show*
Pyrotechnic Volley*

- Mid-Match:

You're As Graceful As A Cow On Ice
This Is Going Nowhere Fast
Road To Victory
Brain To Mouth
Unscrupulous SOB
Break It Out... x2
Ready To Fight x2
Living The Good Life

- Maneuvers: (22)

Super Punch x3
Back Fist x2
Ap Chapki Kick x3
Shoot Forearm x3
Kidney Punch x2
Thrust Knee Lift x3
Cold-Cocked x3
Punch After Punch x3

- Reversals: (25)

A Revolution of The Mind x3
Elbow To The Face x3
Volley This! x3
Don't Try This At Home x2
Hold The Phone x2
The Coach Say's "Today's The Day!" x2
Volleyed Beyond The Edge x3
Anything And Hate It
Never Forgive - Never Forget
In My Day, A Maneuver Was A Maneuver
Manager Interferes x3
"Cowboy" Bob Orton Interferes

- Actions: (13)

Volley Call x3
Maria: Ideal Interviewer x3
Underestimated Prowess x2
Shoot Action x3
Egomaniacal x2

The Idea is to use Trash Talkin' Interview and Pyrotechnic to manipulate my opponent's hand.
Then, the main plan is... Egomanical along with Piper's Pit, Thrust Knee Lift and the Volley Trait to strip my opponent's Ringside from the game, screwing over the greatest of Stall Decks. Kidney Punch removes Wrestlemania if that has to be activated then on my turn I use Living The Good Life to pick up a Punch After Punch and Remove some more Arsenal/Ringside from the game  Tongue

I would really appreciate any help with this, thanks guys!

Maybe I should drop Through All These Years for Managed My Lita? Just incase I come up against another Legend who drops Bitter Rivals?

John Macek won the 2006 LCQ with a Volley Piper. You can check it out here

As for your current deck, Shake It Off (TB) is a valuable action I think you're missing.

Bitter Rivals is not something I'd be worried about, unless your friends were screwing with you. Put another way, if I were bringing this to the Gen Con qualifier as opposed to playing against some friends over the course of several weeks, I wouldn't be worried about Bitter Rivals. Of course, you could just pack Bitter Rivals yourself if you're that worried about your opposing Legendary opponent playing Bitter Rivals as opposed to packing a secondary manager that you will never play if the first option is available.

The deck used to be Technical but Volley Piper just seems to make sense.

Any suggestions what I can take out for Shake It Off?

I'm not worried to the extent that I would pack Bitter Rivals, Jimmy is just a bonus.

consider buried alive match if you are going to be RVG-ing

Buried Alive Match could be an option Tongue

I've taken out:

Cold-Cocked x1
The Coach Say's... x1
Volley Call x1
Kidney Punch x1

and put in:

Shake It Off x2
Fisticuffs x2
