Yes. You activate it by discarding 2 and the effect is the reversal.

It's worth noting that the ACE isn't vulnerable to Don't Try This at Home since you can only use it on your opponent's turn and he can't play DTTAH during his own turn. The card's effect is an ACE, though, and stuff that looks for ACEs (like the Action portion of Escape the Rules, funny, that) will see it.
