Thoughts on which one is better?  I want to build one of them!  I'm leaning towards Owen, but I dont want to count out Blazer.  I was thinking of a chain/heat build for him.

It really comes down to this: you like Chain or you like volley? I'd say Owen because I'm a fan of the Chain mechanic, but Volley's good too.

True...I have a Owen built and I had to decide between him or Blazer, but I went with Owen because one I already had a Volley deck and 2 Chain decks piss my opponent off more, lol

I made both, Blazer is slightly more fun to me.

That's just 'cause you can point to your son, tell him to drink his milk, and say that you're role-playing, Piper.

Thanks, I have always had trouble building Volley decks.  I was really leaning towards Owen.  I just never understood giving my opponent another "zone" to reverse from....

Wasn't the basic point of Volley decks to be a magic bullet against Heat decks?  You can't play cards from your ringside pile if 2/3 of your ringside pile has been removed from the game.

What I can't understand is why the Shelton Benjamin starter was Volley based?  He seemed more like a Chain guy to me.

Probably because he would have crushed all the other starter decks if he was Chain, heh.

The thing with Volley is - yes, they can reverse from Ringside but even if they aren't Heat, it limits their recursion later in the game... and if they can't 'return fire' and attack you back, you can pick up your Volley move and swing again, so you didn't miss out on your offense by extending their reversal 'zone'.

Volley has a lot of positives, especially in virtual with TB Sucker Punch and opening volley
Hitting the scene.
