I got the ESPN app for my XBox 360 at the beginning of the year. As long as I have an XBox Live Gold account and an ESPN-affiliated provider, I can watch ANYTHING ESPN shows, whether it's on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, TSN, their Caribbean networks, and so on. If I miss a game, it'll have it on-demand for me to watch at any time. I was able to watch replays of games in Euro 2012 if I happened to be at work while the game was going on. And what I've found using the app:

-The Canadian Football League's brand of football is pretty damn good. And after a bit of consultation (thanks Goth!), I now know which players to keep an eye on, though I was also told I was on the right track when I was able to identify Calgary Stampeders RB Jon Cornish as a stellar player (7.0 yards a carry? Insane).

-Cricket is actually a pretty cool game, and from my point of view, must've come from a parent game that spawned it and baseball. Feel free to laugh, but a Jamaican co-worker convinced me to watch while the Caribbean Twenty20 tournament was going on. And other than the terminology, it's pretty easy to follow. For that matter.......

-Caribbean cricketers MUST be video gamers and/or wrestling marks. One bowler for Trinidad and Tobago had a habit of celebrating dismissal of a batter by performing a shoryuken. For other players, John Cena's "You Can't See Me" taunt is popular when they dismiss a batter. Other wrestler taunts are also popular.

-The Caribbean LOVES ESPN. This was confirmed by my Jamaican co-worker. According to him, a popular phrase down there is that ESPN stands for "Exciting Sports Presented Nightly".

-Since TSN shows hockey games, I'll be able to get out-of-area games much more easily. This also means I'll be able to watch Flyers games without having to hear our homerific announce team.

So yeah, if you have an XBox Live Gold account and your ISP is ESPN-affiliated, I'd recommend picking this up. It doesn't cost anything extra, and you get a massive expansion of content as well as getting to watch the games on-demand.

(To females): So.......doing anything after this?
(To Spencer): Just the arm? What? Can't afford the rest of the suit?
(To Captain America): This armor knows your next move before you do, Steve.
(To Phoenix Wright): If I win, you're gonna call off that lawsuit on Stark Industries. Deal?
