No, I don't mean as a person ...or that he 'can't wrestle', etc.  I'm talking about the crap they're doing with him.

For example, Smackdown has a great, action-packed 4-team 4-way match... lots of high-flying action, fast-paced.. just a blast to watch!

....immediately, Big Show comes out and beats the hell out of everyone, and says "...and....?  ....what..."  and leaves.  What a pointless waste.

I'm so tired of the UNHOLYMONSTER booking.. they did this same crap with Kane a few months ago, and besides the boring retread, having an overused near-retirement big guy destroy all the up-and-comers just makes them all look bad.  And for what?  Just to push the guy they've already pushed as far as they can?  For pete's sake, the casuals recognize Big Show's a monster on his size, and the long-term fans know he's held pretty much every time their is, multiple times.

People either don't like him, or they don't care.  And crap like this doesn't change anything... it just say 'You know those 8 guys you just watched, busting their asses to put on a good match?  They're nothing, its all about this other guy just because he's big.'  Idiocy.

....

...but on a lighter note, I suddenly realized I was watching 4 black wrestlers, a black manager, 2 puerto rican wrestlers, 2 'mexican' wrestlers, and (whatever Latin origin Rosa is billed from).  Why does the tag division have to be the minority division?  Tongue

i hope this is a new feud. show/cena is over. cena prevailed and has moved on to punk. show couldn't beat one large man so he's going after much smaller guys. guys he knows he can beat. it actually makes sense for his bully character. i see this as their attempt at making the tag division more relevant. show is just now out of a high profile feud, he brings the heat from that with him. and more people will get behind the teams when they stand up to him.

The concept of putting Big Show in the tag division as a one-man team is a pretty cool idea, actually.

But if this is how they are starting it out.. where Big Show is not JUST able to beat ONE tag team by himself.. but he can beat ALL tag teams by himself.. it demeans all of those tag teams, and make a team like Kofi/Truth beating Show a 'miracle win' rather than a more credible victory.  (We're talking Brooklyn Brawler catching Triple H with a fluke rollup for the win here, lol)

I agree with both of these actually.  Right now, Big Show does suck.  I hate that the tag division is actually starting to get rolling again for the first time in forever. They have some real talent, and Big Show punks them all and makes it look irrelevant.  (pretty much all that Creed said)  But IF (and that's a big if) it's a heat draw to pull more attention for a triumphant beatdown on Show...then that would be pretty epic.  And a good work for Show to get them over.  Buuuuttt....this is WWE that we are talking about and they never book things the way we think/hope they will...for better or worse.

yeah, but he beat bunch of guys who just had a competitive back and forth match. it's like the hot tag scenario. two guys, not worn out but not fresh, beat up one guy. hot tag and the fresh partner runs through the other team. it's the same idea but amplified because show is huge.

I will like this if there is a pay off that puts over one of the younger teams at some point. Unfortunately the WWE has proven too many times that they don't use common sense like that.

it has always annoyed me that WWE has always used large sized guys as unholy destructive forces. They tried something fresh with Kane a while back with that shitty Katie Vick stuff and the overall sensitive, tragic creature angle but once the mask came off it was back to the ol trail of destruction etc etc etc
