Here are the results of our first Revo 2 legal All Axxess tournament at The Stadium of Bay City, MI.

We had 8 people enter, representing the following Superstars:

Revo Edge (Alex Jerry)
Hall and Nash (Nate Weiss) (yep, you read that right,  Hall, and Nash!!)
Edge (Andrew)
The Dudley Boys (Billy)
Randy Orton (Jon)
Batista (Dalton)
Spike Dudley (John Chomos, myself the T.O.)
Gail Kim, and Molly Holly (Jeremiah, the former T.O.)

I entered with Spike Dudley, which I have been perfecting for the past few weeks. Basic idea, is to throw lots of Revo moves, which circumvent his move restrictions. Many decks in my area still can not reliably deal with the Revo 0/7s (pumped to 0/8s via Old School Beating). Ideally I search for Pump Kick, and use A No Show to rotate in It's Showtime. I pack lots of recursion, and the best colossals.

Spike Dudley plays out as a improved version of Carlito; with I beleive better Superstar Specifics, and the extra draw is optional: so you are not forced to deck yourself.

Round 1:

(R) Edge vs. Dudley Boys.  Win to (R) Edge.
Hall and Nash vs. Randy Orton. Win to Randy Orton.
Edge vs. Batista. Win to Edge.
Spike Dudley vs. Gail Kim, and Molly Holly. Win to Spike Dudley.

Round 2:

(R) Edge vs. Spike Dudley. Win (R) Edge.
Edge vs. Randy Orton. Win Edge.
Hall and Nash vs. Gail Kim and Molly Holly. Win Hall and Nash.
Batista vs. Dudley Boys. Win Batista.

After suffering a double loss, Gail Kim, and Molly Holly drop from the tournament.

Round 3:

(R) Edge vs. Edge (Edge likes to play with himself  Shocked Shocked)  Win (R) Edge.
Hall and Nash vs. Batista. Win Hall and Nash.
Spike Dudley vs. Randy Orton. Win Spike Dudley.
Dudley Boys (get a bye).

Cut to top 4:

Both (R) Edge, and Edge make the top 4, proving that both versions of Edge will be a force to reckon with in Revo 2 All Axxess.

(R) Edge vs. Dudley Boys. Win (R) Edge.
Hall and Nash vs. Edge. Win Hall and Nash!!

Finals:

Hall and Nash vs. (R) Edge. Winner Hall and Nash!!

Yup!! You read that right, Hall and Nash the long forgotten Superstar of yesteryear wins the tournament!! Woot!!

For the record, I was playing <R> Edge and in my defense, Nate had a LOT of bizarre luck go his way and he played well in our finals match.

Stupid nWo.

For the record, my nWo pile beat <R> Edge because of three reasons:
A) Summer of Slam (T) ripped YTYKM
B) I stole his Managed by Vince (T) AND Champ is Here
C) I pack Inertia

Still, it was a blast throwing my opponents around the Ring with gigantic Revolution moves.

well i ran what we still feel to be a solid randy orton deck but it just hasnt been performing up to standards. i was however the only deck able to beat hall and nash that day. i had a nice combo of look under the ring, third gen drop kick, burn in my light, and revolution ego cutter to end his chance at going undefeated hehe. o well maybe i'll figure out what the hell is wrong with this deck and get it to work.

Examine all Revolution maneuvers for words found in the Superstar Ability, build accordingly.  Wink  (add a helping portion of Nate Weiss tech, and the deck wins!)

Yeah, damn that BFM and APA enforcer.

Come on, now .. you should know by now that just about any superstar can win if the right player's behind it (look at Kandziolka's Primere Raw BuhBuh from back in the day).

first of all dre, this is a completely different era from when those decks were around, so you cannot compare the two. BFM enforcer? when has that won anything? also, the apa enforcer is used for more than throwing moves via teddy and heyman

Me me me.

I used the BFM enforcer in my Eric BiscHo deck, going Uncle Eric Karate kick into a enforcer useful for the matchup.

BFM enforcer + Over the Ropes/Lip Lock is actually pretty damn good.

BFM enforcer vs. anyone with more than 15 cards in hand + Road to Victory is good.

And of course I can compare that BuhBuh deck to an nWo deck now. Hall 'n' Nash is a pile. BuhBuh was, and to be fair, still is a pile and look what he did in that tournament.

Yeah, APA + Bobby throws moves like there's no tomorrow. APA + Steph, after the ruling of doom, is still played every now and then. Hell, APA + SABLE was pretty well-played back in the day.

APA + Teddy/Heyman throw moves all day .. it's just that they get to have all kinds of cool abilities tacked on as well.

Chain decks blindly threw moves before it got all of that cool BL deck support.

Heat decks blindly throw moves all the time.

ROFL.

I blindly throw moves with almost every deck. And it works.

This isn't the ROTM era where you had to dedicate half of your backlash deck to cards that would help you get on the board. I just play the Revo 1 0/6's with ECW belt and that works. One card is hardly dedication, so I consider that blindly throwing moves. Even if you don't have the belt, it's still Revo move, so you either have to play rock, paper, scissors if they are packing them as well or just get around Elbow.

I can't tell you how many times I got my ECW belt knocked off by Managed by Vince (TB) and just had to throw moves and they just stuck at the CNY championship. And I played good opponents.

nate... i applaud you.  Hall n Nash?  This is proof that this game isn't dead if Hall n Nash can still win a tournament.  It may not be a qualifier, but gosh darnit... it might as well have been.  It would've been the weirdest news in the history of this game.

BFM enforcer vs. anyone with more than 15 cards in hand + Road to Victory is good.

...Aside from Rene Dupree or Edge, I just can't see too many superstars with more than a 15 card hand size anymore (except for Revo. Jeff Hardy)....

well Mitch Raven always had the chance of being good just needed a right person behind the helm he loses some use of Superstar Specifics but he does get use of his normal Premium rares and can mess someone up with them. But he however doesnt get the airtime he needs

Not taking any credit away from Nate Weiss, because winning with Hall and Nash is awesome, but I really dont think its that big of a feat. Everyone plays 0-7 Revo moves. They go through and you have good cards to play after. IMO you can win with any character that way it just happens he decided to play Hall and Nash.
