The UFS Mid-West Coast Championship 2008

I am not running this event, just trying to spread the word. This is straight from the STG forums posted by the scout running the event TripsEX.

The UFS Mid-West Coast Championship in scenic Milwaukee, Wisconsin! This is a two day event here at the store, and we are already preparing for this event! This post is not complete yet, so check back for more information as it comes!

The MWCC will be held on April 19th and 20th.

UFS Mid-West Coast Championship Team Event
Date/Time: Saturday April 19th, 2008 at 12:00PM
Entry Cost: $15 per team

This will be Swiss with a cut for Top 8 Single Elimination. Decks must be constructed format and follow all current ban and errata lists. Teams will be 3 v 3.

First Place Team gets an Un-Cut Sheet of cards from an SNK or Street Fighter set, do be decided randomly. There will also be additional prize cards that even I didn't know existed.

Top Teams will receive booster packs, booster boxes, gift certificates, and participation cards. Every entrant will receive participation cards.

Date/Time: Sunday April 20th, 2008 at 12:00PM
Entry Cost: $10 per entrant

This will be Swiss with a cut for Top 8 Single Elimination. Decks must be constructed format and follow all current ban and errata lists. This is an Assets of Power Event.

Winner and Top 4 will receive additional Assets of Power sets. Winner also wins an Un-Cut Sheet, determined from Team Event. Top Players will receive booster packs, booster boxes, gift certificates, and participation cards. Everyone entrant will receive participation cards.

(02/29/2008 Update): 50 days left until April 19th! I'm so excited, and I am beginning to freak out and drive myself crazy with planning. I got the prizes today and they are awesome, to say the least. Uncut sheets look so nice when you pull them from their tube and stare at them in awe.

We got our AoPs here too, fresh Cessations and Dousings to go into your decks. We're getting ready to stock cards too, and any input as to what you'd like to see up here would be appreciated.

Please, PRE-REGISTER. I got the copies of Tira's Contract in today. If you really don't want them, I guess I could just keep them to myself; but I only need a playset! PRE-REGISTER! I also need to gauge how many arcade machines we need to move out of the gaming room, so the more numbers I see, they more comfortable you all will be. -=PRE-REGISTRATION CLOSES ON APRIL 11TH.=-
