my thought was during the triple threat...orton comes out RKO's Legacy and Cena then pulls Cena ontop of one of'em. Thus making Cena wrestling a 14 man elimination match before fighting for an hour.

but of course had Cena won he wouldn't be on the team he was there to just stop Legacy...which is retarded.

Cena wasnt part of the stip for the tag match.  It was only either Legacy who would have gotten a spot.  All Cena was there to do was try and stop both Legacy members from being on team Raw

I'm a HUGE Ziggler/Jericho fan, but SD looks like they should just get destroyed with all due respect.  Unless Show turns traitor ala his ECW battle royal or something...ECW could probably have a slightly better lineup than the SD Guys.

if it's a set up for  SS it's stupid...
if it's not set up it's even more stupid...
if team Smackdown win it's even more stupid...
if team Raw win with Triple H or HBK being on the wining team it's even more stupid...
if no one for ECW gets involved it's even more stupid...
if there are no distincive heel team made by the time it's on it'e EVEN more stupid..
and if no one puts over any of the young talents at all "YES I'M LOOKING AT YOU TRIPLE H!" then it could well be one of the most stupid things i've seen and i can see why Shane left what would of been his company one day...

Also when it was Raw Vs Smackdown at SS a few years ago it was more unbalanced them my TNA cards...

as it was Team SmackDown! (Batista, Rey Mysterio, John "Bradshaw" Layfield, Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton) Vs Team Raw (Shawn Michaels, Kane, The Big Show, Carlito and Chris Masters)

now i know what your thinking "but Rob! come on your overreating surly" yeah maybe but Raw had at that time (on the same card even)
John Cena ,  Kurt Angle, Triple H even  Ric Flair
and Smackdwon  had Benoit and Booker
now I understand you have to pan out a PPV somehow but Team Smackdown got Orton, Lashley, JBL and Batista and Raw got Kane and Big Show?

and Bragging Rights is here for 1 simple reason people....they just couldn't name the PPV "Smackdown vs Raw featuring ECW 2009" since that was last years game...but its still 09

Except none of the HIAC nor the Submission matches were any good. These types of matches need to be saved for superstars that shine in them. Orton and Punk don't use submission moves...they have no right being a Submission match. Orton and Undertaker in TLC matches?? Gimme a break. Taker would have been cool 5-6 years ago (ala the Jeff Hardy/Taker match) but he is just too old now.

I would put it to you that the PPVs that are themed on a particular type of match takes away from the potential storytelling. For instance, once the September PPV was over, WWE's writers went "OK, now we have to develop a story or 2 on each show to put in the HiaC - and we only have 3 weeks to do it. Bring out the dartboard." (OK, so that last sentence may not have been fair.)

It ends up making the stories feel rushed and contrived. Plus it makes the matches themselves seem more ordinary. 1 HiaC to really put the capper on a feud that's been brewing for several months. OK! 3 HiaCs just because it's October? Not so much.
