First: For this card, you need to discard at least 1 card to commit a 0 cost foundation because if you choose to discard 0 cards you haven't paid the actual cost of the card correct?

Second: For Omar's character form ability, you need to discard at least 1 card to pull a 0 cost foundation from the discard correct?

my personal opinion i would say the answer to both is yes you can discard 0 just like for soul survivor it says discard your hand which could read as Discard X cards.  where X equals the number of cards in your hand.  So if you have 0 cards in hand you can discard 0 cards to destroy soul survivor, by that logic you chose lets say Man behind the mask, the defined difficulty you need to commit is 0, so what is X in discard X cards... ZERO, same with Omar, discard 0 pick up man behind the mask, unless Brian finds a way to overrule what i just said, this should be how it is played, or at least that's how i'd rule it in my league.

Words of Wisdom

ABROAD, adj. At war with savages and idiots. To be a Frenchman abroad is to be miserable; to be an American abroad is to make others miserable. - Ambrose Bierce : The Enlarged Devil's Dictionary
