Didn't Barron release the images of what the Kerwin stuff was going to look like way back when?
I do remember something, but I think it was card titles, not images.

Don't mean to double post, but here's an excellent Kerwin match.

Yeah, they were full-text spoilers. Kerwin's cards were Chavo's cards with different names. My Life For You was #1 White Guy: Nick Nemeth, the only Pre-match Manager: Caddy in the game, and One For One was Here's One For the White Fans in the Audience or something similar.

I'm suffering from buyer's remorse after last night.

Yes, I actually paid the $60 to watch it with my friends because we wanted to throw a party.

I was expecting HBK to take out the Undertaker, I really was. All the factors were there for an HBK victory.

The stipulation that HBK had to retire if he lost leading me to believe it wouldn't have happened, the fact that this was the first time Undertaker had a rematch at WM, the great build up leading up to the match. You have the obssessed living legend seeking redemption versus the indomitable entity. These two guys are already over. Neither needs to put the other over for some sort of push, so essentially, the result would only affect the storyline.

If HBK won, he would've been lauded as the guy who ended the streak. It would've been massive. There would have been a ticker tape parade, and small infants would have shed tears of joy. Plus, it would have propelled the story forward or atleast planted another seed for a new story. If Undertaker won, he would've just beaten HBK again and Shawn would've left for like a month before coming back under some new contract or stipulation. Whatever. Not as big a deal. It would've made much more sense to have HBK win it, storyline wise.

Really, who else would be better to end the streak other than Mr. Wrestlemania himself? effing Cena, that pandering corporate shill?

sorry dude...we're gonna hit 20-0 and BAM! Taker is gonna go bye-bye.

although now for the final two..every year the opponent has to be bigger....so next year....hmmm

Goldberg needs to come back around Summerslam and systematically destroy every single person on the roster until there is only 1 man left.....Taker at Mania

Or a full heel mode Triple H...but I'd much rather see that for 20-0

As much as it's going to pain me to say it, it has to be Cena for 20.  Next year is going to be a gimme, like Vince or Sheamus or something.  20 is going to be the big one, and there really isn't any bigger Mania match for Taker than Cena.

everytime has t be a big ? mark now. He cant get gimmes anymore. It just won't be fun. There are no more Mark Henry Casket Matches in Undertakers WM matches. If Cena is 20...then 119 needs full on heel triple H. I just figure a Goldberg who has murdered everyone else would be fureaking awesome

Maybe the end of the streak will be epic like the end of the Master Lock challenge. Somebody like Santino could break the streak. What a swerve that would be. I guess we should just expect the writers to blow it going so there will be little room fir disappointment. At this point, it's gone far enough that it's near impossible to please a large majority of humanoids.

The only way i see the streak every ending is if Undertaker himself ever goes fully heel.  That is the only way it will ever end, he will have to be so hated the fans will have to want and demand someone step up and end it

They have gone this far just let the streak stay. The only one that will end it now is Cena, and I'd rather that not happen.

I agree with everything Mr. Castle said.  He was right on with why HBK would have won

But HBK wanted to retire. So making him win would have made no sense. He said he had no career if he couldn't beat the Undertaker, yet if he won he would be done and quit anyways? It's not like the WWE came up with the retirement thing and forced HBK into it, he wanted to quit and end it like this. Did HBK winning make sense storyline wise, yeah, but really doesn't matter because the guy wanted to retire.

I don't think that can be done - and I'm sure Taker still sells a ton of merch, so WWE wouldn't want to anyway.

At this point, they'll probably run the streak to an even 20 and be done with it.. at least that's what I'd do.  Give Taker the last 2 in 'foregone conclusion' matches (see also: Taker vs. Mark Henry, Casket Match) and move on.  The guy is in horrible shape anyway, and will be a part-time special attraction for the remainder of his career...
